What Make Us Different

What sets us apart from most parenting sites is that we aim to create a network of parents that can be matched by a local, question, issue and advice level. The aim of the site is to empower parents into being able to find what they want, when they want and being able to make friends with other parents, share comments issues and seek advice and have another person they can talk to.

Forums and Blogs are great but everyone is different in life and everyone has different problems and even though posting a thread will get you by, where can you go to get advice from other people that know you but wont judge you? Understand your problems and can advice you as they know you on a social level.

The ideas behind blogs and forum are great and we have maintained them in our site but we aim to deliver a more personal and social touch to getting the advice you need or that thought you want to share. We also operate a catalogue club where our members can benefit from children’s accessories, clothes etc at a discounted price.

Matching Parents. This functionality is there to allow parents from local areas to network, chat, share local issues and is great if your moving to a new area. It also help parents find friends for their children locally. This feature is also very good when it comes to needing advice. For example if you are potty training and a local mum is also doing the same thing you could meet up let the children play whilst you share ideas see how each other is doing. Sometimes going back to the good old days when you speak to people face to face is not a bad thing. Also lets not forget that dads in the UK there are in the region of 2 million stay at home dads and when they need help who can they turn to? This is where ask a mother comes in.
